Commercial Manager - SOCOTEC's CDM and Building Regulations & Consultancy
To support our ambitious growth plans, we have a great opportunity to join our Building and Real Estate Division. SOCOTEC's CDM and Building Regulations & Consultancy teams provide an award-winning, flexible and forward-thinking approach, as well as a high level of technical capability, providing our clients with cost-effective and practical solutions across construction consultancy.
We're looking for a Commercial Managerto lead strategic and operational initiatives responsible for:
- Driving commercial excellence, supporting business development, bids and contracts, and improving profitability and efficiency across both the CDM and BRAC consultancy teams
- Leading the coordination and delivery of high-quality bids and managing commercial performance across projects
- Championing process improvements to reduce technical team time spent on administrative and financial tasks
- Overseeing contract preparation, negotiation, and management while supporting resolution of commercial issues

- Minimum 8 years' experience in the built environment/construction sector with 5+ years in commercial/bid management
- Proven track record of bid success, margin improvement, and commercial process transformation
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and project profitability analysis
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related fields (professional qualification in commercial management desirable)
- Strategic leadership skills with ability to implement commercial strategies and drive profitable growth
