As part of our Commercial Management Centre of Excellence, you'll:
Main Duties
- Deliver on the objectives of the commercial management strategy.
- Administer and optimise NEC4 contracts, from high-volume activities to one-off, high-value projects.
- Build trusted, collaborative relationships with supply chain partners.
- Lead on commercial processes: change, valuation, disputes, and final accounts.
- Assess and certify completed works, payments, and performance incentives.
- Monitor, forecast, and report on contract performance to enable informed decision-making.
- Spot opportunities to drive efficiency and innovation across contracts and processes.
What we're looking for
- We're keen to hear from candidates with:
- Strong background in contract administration and commercial management (ideally within NEC4).
- Financial management and analytical skills - able to translate data into insight.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with the confidence to influence and negotiate.
- Experience managing disputes and resolving complex issues.
- Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Contract Management, or Civil Engineering.
- Bonus points if you're chartered (RICS) or working towards it, and/or have exposure to the utility or water industry.

£50,000 - £60,000 a year
