As Commercial Manager for our Master Trades team, you'll bring the commercial expertise and leadership needed to drive profitability, strengthen operational processes, and build lasting relationships that enhance our reputation in the high-end residential market.

The responsibilities we'll trust you with

  • You'll maintain strong commercial oversight by managing a robust project pipeline and ensuring alignment with planned turnover targets.
  • You'll represent and champion the Master Trades team with positivity and professionalism in every external interaction.
  • You'll help position the Master Trades team as a partner of choice, securing future opportunities through consistent delivery and a reputation for quality and dependability.
  • You'll ensure commercial rigour by implementing effective controls over both commercial and operational performance across all projects.
  • You'll deliver financial insight through the timely preparation and submission of accurate cash flow forecasts to the Group Commercial Manager.
  • You'll support strategic decision making by providing quarterly operational and financial reporting to Group Directors across all ongoing projects.
  • You'll manage complexity with precision by maintaining control over a high volume of project variations while safeguarding commercial outcomes.
  • You'll foster operational excellence through regular site visits and close collaboration with project teams, building relationships and driving performance.

Where you'll be based

You'll join our Master Trades team, working closely with our Master Trades Operations Manager. You'll be located in the village of Sherborne St John, a ten-minute drive from Basingstoke town centre, at our company head office.
