Brooklands Museum is- the original home of motorsport and aviation, a unique and special place to work, where people's pursuit of speed, flight and adventure changed the world! We are located on a 30-acre site, part of the world's first purpose-built motor racing circuit and the most productive aircraft factories in Europe in the twentieth century, we are also home of British Airways Concorde - Delta Golf. The Museum welcomes over 185,000 visitors each year these are made up of members of the public, Brooklands Members, VIPs, corporate hospitality guests and school groups.

As we are a visitor attraction, our priority is delivering a memorable and inspiring experience for all visitors and ensuring we meet our commitment of 'Brooklands at its best, every day'. Following a period of change, we are now driving ahead with growth and looking to fly to new heights in terms of commercial opportunities, so we can continue to shape the future using the history of Brooklands Innovation and Endeavour, where 'world firsts' happened and we are now looking to recruit a new Commercial Manager for the Museum to help us do this. The role is crucial to enable us to develop commercial opportunities for the organisation to ensure we continue to maximise our income potential through our retail, hospitality, premium events, site hire, licencing, travel trade and further develop our groups strategy.
As an independent charity, our Events provide a significant financial contribution to allow the continued conservation and preservation of our historic collection. Our Events generate around a third of our annual visitor footfall, attracting a variety of supporters ranging from enthusiasts to family groups and help promote our Brooklands Members Scheme.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, entrepreneurial and forward-thinking Commercial Manager, who is not afraid to try new things, to think differently and to help drive income growth by creating innovative revenue streams to ensure Brooklands Museum is a sustainable business for future generations. With our rich collection of motorsport and aviation heritage - including Concorde - we are looking for the right candidate to help take us forward on the next step of our journey - the skies the limit!
