Commercial Manager - UK Civils - York

Role
We are looking to bolster our commercial team within our UK North business unit with the appointment of a Commercial Manager to work on a large projects in the Manchester area. The Commercial Lead will take full commercial responsibility and ownership for the project, working closely with the Project Manager to ensure a successful project is delivered, while maintaining relationships and maximising commercial returns and managing risk. You will:

• Lead management of change for York Central (£130m scheme). This will require managing change from inception to agreement with the Employer.
• All key change will be managed directly by this role.
• Management of QS team for completing day to day / small change.
• Responsible for value reporting within the monthly reviews. Will need to liaise closely with the commercial lead for the scheme and the wider team.

You must have following:

• Management of schemes in Highways / Heavy Civil Engineering
• NEC Option A & C experience
