Danny Sullivan Group are currently looking a Commercial Manager for a role with a well-established civil engineering contractor working on projects across the UK.

Ideal candidate would have strong civils experience on projects worth £10m+ and would have strong NEC contract experience on projects in the UK. This client are working on large scale projects such as Gatwick expansion, HS2 and large scale waste to energy build projects.

Responsibilities:

• Cost management
• Reporting and forecasting
• Supply chain evaluation and procurement
• Contract review and negotiation
• Negotiation, management and administration of sub-contract accounts
• Change management
• Issuing contractual notifications
• Negotiation and agreement of compensation events
• Production and agreement of final accounts
• Providing commercial advice to Operational team

Qualifications/experience:

• BSc in Quantity Surveying Construction Management or equivalent qualification
• Experience from civils, working with NEC form of Contract, managing the commercial element of multiple projects
• A 'hands-on' approach and experience gained within a contracting environment
• A good working knowledge of MS Office (minimum of Word and Excel)
