Location- Permanent

Office Attendance- Our roles are hybrid; however, you should be able to travel to our Edinburgh office 2-3 days per week for this position.

We're looking for a Commercial Manager to join our Insurance and Money Services team.

• As a Commercial Manager you'll be working on our own brand Tesco Gift Card program. Focusing on growing the gift card programme in the UK & Republic of Ireland via B2B channels.

• You'll play a key part in developing our B2B sales & trade plan, identifying new opportunities for the business and building and managing key partnerships within the B2B space.

• It's an exciting time to join our record breaking and award-winning Gift Card team.

What you'll be doing

Key roles and responsibilities

• Developing and implementing sales and trade plans to push the business forward.

• Managing the day-to-day partner relationships with our B2B contacts and resellers.

• Work collaboratively with partners, colleagues, and agencies to unlock new sales and discount opportunities that align with the wider business strategies.

• Supporting technical and product development for Tesco Gift Cards, being fully up to speed with industry wide advancements and ensuring Tesco maintains a competitive edge in the market through product innovations and delighting our customers.

• Delivering exceptional customer service and being the go-to person for all day to day queries from Tesco Stores and Tesco Bank colleagues and external Tesco B2B customers.

• Robust understanding of all risks associated with the business including any fraud weaknesses and responsibility for ensuring that real time tracking is in place and any control gaps documented and plan to close exists.

We need you to have:

• Proven track record of stakeholder and partner relationship management.

• Good communication and relationship management skills to interact with key stakeholders (both internal and with our 3rd parties).

• A customer orientated mindset to ensure we consistently hold them at the heart of what we do.

• Proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.

• Commercial Acumen - apply understanding of the business environment and objectives to help develop solutions.

• Knowledge and experience within the Gift Card industry.

• Background and experience in partnership management.

Role Alignment

Following the announcement regarding Tesco's strategic partnership with Barclays, this role will support our Insurance and Money Services team and will remain with Tesco.
