Commercial Finance Manager (Part time, 3 days/week)

What you'll do

This is a part time role - 3 days per week!

  • Trusted key Commercial Finance Business Partner to the VTV & OneNumber P&S product functions:
  • Monthly Performance Monitoring and Quarterly Profitability analytics - monitor revenue and profitability performance ensuring data integrity of revenues reported in ESSBase/HFM with a genuine understanding of underlying drivers.
  • Aside from the VTV Portfolio you will also be expected to provide commercial finance support to the OneNumber product function (our smart connectivity product providing cellular connection to Smart Watches and Laptops).
  • VTV + Digital Experience Portfolio Fiscal Control and Investment Management: responsible for Project OPEX and CAPEX budgets as well as overheads (incl Capitalised). Utilising
  • GT:GC Operating Model Development: a key objective of the role will be to transform the working relationship between the two functions in the context of VTV.

Who you are

  • Will ideally be a qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA), with a university education in a quantitative field such as mathematics, economics, accounting and finance.
  • Must have immaculate organisational skills to ensure job-share success - as a practical example: to ensure effective co-ordination and completion of tasks - handover notes must be provided to ensure continuity as one job-share partner takes over from the other each week.
  • Needs excellent excel skills comprising the deployment of formulae in unique and complex combination to effectively manipulate data with ease.
  • Will possess excellent financial modelling skills: multivariate models with inputs drawn from various sources of varying formats and completeness, capable of advanced scenario analytics - with effective presentation of results in either graphical or tabular format.
  • Is enthusiastic and pro-active with a can-do attitude - always willing to get stuck-in and support their peers with a focus on high quality outcomes. "Not-my-job" does not feature in their vocabulary.

  • Discretionary yearly bonus: 10%
