Job Overview
Britvic is seeking a dynamic and compelling Channel Finance Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering financial insights, governance, and value creation for a specific cluster of customers within the Food & Beverages industry. As a key business partner to the Account Directors, you will drive continuous improvement and influence performance through accurate reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide insightful analysis and provocations to the Account Directors and their teams on customer performance, identifying risks and opportunities to exceed budget commitments.
- Champion an ROI improvement culture by evaluating customer investments, terms proposals, and identifying value creation opportunities through margin, SKU, and spend optimization.
- Simplify processes, systems, and data to improve governance, ensuring adherence to processes, effectiveness in the order-to-cash process, and investment authorization.
- Support the development of the commercial team's financial capability, coaching and mentoring Channel Analysts and others in the wider finance team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners on capital prioritization, pricing support, and embedding project activities into business as usual.
Requirements
- Strength in analytical reasoning, numerical analysis, and the ability to distill complex financial concepts for non-finance audiences.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Hyperion, BBW, or similar systems.
- A relentless drive and leadership impact to get things done.
- Broad business and commercial awareness with a strategic mindset.
- Ability to engage and influence across various business functions and at senior levels.
- Ability to take the initiative to deliver business solutions and provide thought leadership.
- Background in FMCG (retailer or manufacturer) is preferred.
Qualifications
- CIMA qualified with experience (other financial qualifications will also be considered)
- Degree level qualification preferred
