COMMERCIAL FINANCE MANAGER UKI

Location: Wimbledon, London

As our Commercial Finance Manager you will play a key role in transforming the way we work on Trade Investment within the UK&I market.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Commercial Finance Manager is responsible for supporting the Senior Commercial Finance Manager in driving Gross Margin improvements and partnering with Divisional Commercial Teams to drive profitable growth with customers. The role also supports the wider finance team in the proper governance/controls over Trade Investments and expenses, supporting ROI mindset and supporting transparent reporting of customer activity performance on a timely basis. The role is also the single point of contact for Customer Directors, providing end-to-end support for specific retailers within their scope.

YOUR MAIN FOCUS:

• Gross Margin: Support the holistic financial analysis to support the business in driving Gross Margin improvements: CPI, SRM impact, mix, assortment
• Gross and Net Revenue planning: Support the financial planning, reporting, delivery of sales targets for the Division: Gross and Net
• Retail: ensure retail performance for the Division is related to Gross, Net and Stock in Trade by customer and channel
• Support Gross-To-Net for the Division and work with key stakeholders (Financial Director, Trade Marketing etc) to optimise and adjust as necessary.
• Trade investment spend: Support the accurate reporting of trade fund spend for all customers across the Division.
• Co-pilot with Commercial teams by providing financial insight for short, mid and longer-term decision making relating to gross and net.
• R&O management: Working in partnership with Commercial and Supply Chain, support the reporting of R&O for the Division.
• Plan: Support the Division sales planning as part of the Annual Plan (AOP).
• Lead Month End Process from a Commercial perspective ensuring accurate reporting of Trade Investment reviewing actuals and leading the management of sales accruals

• CIMA/ACCA finalist/newly qualified with relevant work experience

• High standards of accuracy and precision; operational discipline; ability to deliver against tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal collaboration skills, ability to think creatively, highly driven, and self-motivated.
