We are placing a significant bet on Commerce within the Groupe on eRetail and are building a powerhouse of capability to deliver on this.

Overview
The successful Commerce Manager will be attached to limited number of our leading client accounts in the UK, making their Commerce ambitions a reality.
This is a Fixed Term contract role: 6 months
The successful applicant will have an understanding of the online consumer journey and its optimisation levers (retail, content, and advertising). They will be effective operating in a matrixed organisation, helping to solve complex business challenges and drive tangible results for our clients.
This client facing role has a variety of responsibilities, including delivering best-in-class commerce strategy scope, and working closely with the account team building a market leading online proposition. They should have a working understanding of eCommerce with knowledge of optimisation tactics outside of media.
Responsibilities
- Support existing account team with online retail deliverables for a limited number of our leading client accounts in the UK & EU, making their Commerce ambitions a reality.
- Develop with the account team comprehensive retail strategies that align with the overall client business objectives.
- Contribute to Retail Media planning initiatives and budget recommendations by providing expertise in Onsite placements.
- Support local Retail Media strategies including defining key measurement principles and activation tactics across platforms such as Criteo and CitrusAd.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats.
- Supporting efforts to upskill the business on key topics and emerging trends.
Qualifications
- This role would benefit a methodical, well-organised and adaptable individual, who has the ability to build relationships and get under the skin of our client's business to understand how we can best support their Commerce ambitions
- Proven experience managing commerce activity, in a brand, retailer, or agency
- Broad digital marketing experience that is not limited to (but should include) ecommerce.
- Strong logical thinking and outstanding project management skills.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- It will undoubtedly be demanding (always) and frustrating (at times) given the complexity involved but we believe this is out weighed by the opportunity.
