Your Role
This is a high impact role in the Cloud Advisory capability unit contributing to our leadership in cloud transformation across our clients in different industry sectors.
As a Consultant - Cloud Op Model Transformation, the focus of your role will be to:
- Cloud Transformation Advisory: Advise clients on cloud transformation impacts and help develop digitally enabled business models leveraging cloud operating models.
- Assessments and Audits: Conduct assessments and audits of existing cloud operating models to identify areas for improvement.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and maturity of cloud operating model transformations, making adjustments as required.
- Deliver Business Outcomes: Use skills in strategy development, service management, agile delivery, DevOps, business process mapping, and organisational design to deliver digitally enabled business outcomes.
- Collaborative Innovation: Work at all organisational levels to innovate, design, and implement cloud transformations, contributing to the growth and success of consulting practice.
As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:
- Business Development - Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
- Internal Contribution - Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
- Learning & Development - Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.
Your Profile
You'll bring experience in transforming businesses through technology and re-defining the way clients operate. Comfortable at working in a technology-driven environment, you will bring proven skills and experience in some of the following areas:
- Practical experience with ITILv4 best practices and frameworks, including Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, and Service Desk operations.
- ITILv4 Foundation or higher-level certification demonstrating formal training and understanding of ITIL processes will be highly valued.
- Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices, including continuous integration (CI), continuous deployment (CD), automated testing, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Versed with managing and architecting solutions on major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including services like compute, storage, networking, and security.
- Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation.
- Experience of proposition building and delivery.
