Person specification

Qualifications

Essential criteria

  • NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent nationally recognised qualification
  • 2 GCSE's or equivalent grade C or above in Mathematics and English

Desirable criteria

  • 4 GCSE's or equivalent in Mathematics, English and 2 sciences

Knowledge

Essential criteria

  • Following procedures
  • Working in a team
  • Participate in training programmes

Desirable criteria

  • Hospital Pharmacy experience
  • Clinical Trials Experience
  • Experience of training student staff.
  • Knowledge of hospital computer systems
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice

Skills

Essential criteria

  • Able to provide and receive information, verbally and written.
  • To communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals
  • Be able to organise own day to day work
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Methodical, accurate working.
  • Able to use common software packages eg email, word, excel.
  • Evidence of good personal time management.
