We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Services Manager to join our Endoscopy team at The London Clinic, based at our main site in London (W1G 6BW). We are offering a competitive inclusive salary range of £62,978 - £73,997 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Profile:

As the Clinical Services Manager for Endoscopy, you will practice at an expert clinical level and exercise high levels of judgement, discretion and decision making in clinical care, provide clinical leadership, expert practice and knowledge, integrating research evidence into practice. The post holder will be involved in autonomous clinical practice, having clinical responsibility within Endoscopy and provide leadership to qualified and non-qualified staff within the endoscopy team. The post holder will work closely with the Head of Theatres & Endoscopy to ensure that the endoscopy service remains at the forefront of evidence-based practice.

  • Job Type: Permanent, Full Time.
  • Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Job Location: The London Clinic, 20 Devonshire Place. W1G 6BW.
  • Salary: £62,978 - £73,997 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Duties:

  • Monitor and improve standards of care through supervision of practice, clinical audit and promoting the translation of evidence-based research into practice, teaching and supporting professional colleagues and the provision of skilled professional leadership.
  • Utilise advanced specialist clinical skills and experience to carry out specialist care on patients undergoing endoscopy in a safe and effective manner.
  • Research, develop, agree, implement and audit standards, protocols, policies and procedures of clinical care to promote the evidence-based care of the endoscopy patient. This is carried out in conjunction with clinical governance standards and utilising risk assessment strategies to ensure optimum specialist care.
  • Coordinate the running of the endoscopy department including allocation and reallocation of tasks, adjustment of endoscopy lists and coordinating multi-disciplinary team.
  • Develop the Endoscopy team's knowledge and skills, to ensure continual improvements to the quality of patient-centred care services, whilst pushing the boundaries of nurse-led clinical practice.
  • Be at the forefront of innovative practice, inspiring colleagues to implement practice and service developments, informing the body of clinical and nursing knowledge in Endoscopy

Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive post registration experience working effectively in the field of Endoscopy
  • Significant evidence of implementation of JAG accreditation.
  • Evidence of involvement in local and national networks.
  • Demonstrated ability and knowledge on how to undertake audit and feedback to the multi-professional team; with evidence of audit undertaken and outcomes.
  • Evidence of translation of research finding into practice/implementation of research-based practice.
  • Able to demonstrate imaginative and effective use of resources, and the ability to work in a highly demanding environment.
