Are you a Clinical Manager specialising in chemotherapy looking for a new challenge?

Sciensus are currently looking for a Clinical Services Manager for Cancer and Chemotherapy Services in the South East . As a Clinical Services Manager, you will deliver clinical operational performance and provide clinical leadership to clinicians who deliver clinical services in the home or a specified clinical location and specifically in relation to chemotherapy.

You will lead and manage the clinical team motivating, inspiring and leading by example. Maintain and improve clinical quality of our cancer and chemotherapy services by ensuring compliance with clinical standards and ensuring staff adhere to all policies, practices and regulations. Deliver clinical operational performance of our cancer and chemotherapy services daily, weekly and monthly KPI's (operational, financial, safety and people) through effective line management of the team. Work closely with internal and external key stakeholders to promote and raise awareness of Sciensus services to identify/support business development opportunities and increase patient volume. Work closely with Commercial to identify and develop business development opportunities as well as acting as a relationship manager to resolve any service delivery issues.

As this is a regional role travelling to visit patients in their home setting, it is crucial that you have full UK driving licence.

This all sounds great - What key skills do I need to apply:

  • Registered general nurse (with ability, understanding of chemotherapy and cancer services. and experience of managing a clinical team)
  • University accredited chemotherapy course (SACT passport desirable) and recent experience of working in the specialty
  • Commercial awareness and acumen - able to manage resources to maximise profitability and to work with stakeholders to grow revenue.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and decision-making skills by using clinical and managerial experience to make sound operational decisions
  • Good understanding of NHS structures, priorities and decision-making processes
  • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to develop and build strong and effective relationships with clients, colleagues and the wider team.
