As a key member of our leadership team, you will collaborate closely with our Clinical Director, operational leads, and clinical team to drive our mission of delivering exceptional community healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management:
    • Lead the implementation of our clinical strategy within the community service centre.
    • Ensure the safety and professionalism of our clinical team.
    • Act as a role model and professional lead for clinical staff.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Provide expert clinical advice on equipment and service-related matters to prescribers.
  • Training and Development:
    • Develop and deliver training programs for internal staff, prescribers, and community groups.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Analyse NRS data to optimize clinical activities, ensuring they are innovative, timely, and within budget.
    • Manage and resolve clinical complaints, implementing lessons learned for service improvement.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead projects as agreed with commissioners to enhance service delivery.
    • Conduct and oversee clinical incident investigations and reporting.
  • Representation and Advocacy:
    • Represent NRS Healthcare at forums for shared learning and networking.
    • Support professional development opportunities for future OTs/PTs through placements and work experience.

Essential Requirements:

  • BSc Hons degree in OT/PT or Diploma equivalent.
  • Registration with HCPC.
  • Significant experience in Health or Social Care at Band 6 level.
  • Proven experience in prescribing community equipment and managing clinical staff.
  • Specialised knowledge of community equipment
  • Strong communication, organizational, IT skills, and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to manage conflict, stress, and deliver effective training.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience working in a community healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in issuing and adjusting special equipment.
  • Additional clinical training relevant to the specialism.
