Clinical Deputy Care Home Manager - Link House Nursing Home in Raynes Park, London SW20, Part of the Country Court Family

Hours: 40 Hours per week, working weekends on rota ( 2 x shifts on the floor & 2 supernumerary shift)

Located in a peaceful place in Raynes Park, South West London is Link House Nursing Home, which offers nursing, residential and dementia care. Our dedicated team led by the Manager ensure that each person is looked after in a safe and supportive environment.

ABOUT THE CLINICAL DEPUTY CARE HOME MANAGER ROLE

Within your role as the Clinical Deputy Care Home Manager you can really make a difference to our residents' lives. Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for monitoring standards of care delivered by qualified and unqualified care staff.
  • Support the Manager in the implementation of all policies, procedures, and business objectives.
  • Prepare the staff duty rota to ensure appropriate staffing levels at all times.
  • Responsible for monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any change impacting on care and care plans, ensuring that new needs are met, and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
  • Act as a focal point for contact with residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are promptly investigated and dealt with appropriately.

Please note:You will be required to cover some shifts on the floor as required night or day.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who is currently a clinical deputy care manager RGN or Clinical Lead who is wanting to take the next step in their career. You will support the Home Manager across all aspects of Home Management, providing a safe, caring, stimulating and homely environment for residents and their visitors:

  • Have strong leadership skills & are highly motivated
  • Have a friendly & caring attitude
  • Able to engage well with the residents and their families
  • Have strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Experience of working with people with Dementia
  • Valid NMC Pin
