The Client Sales Manager will be responsible for managing accounts within MOD Direct. As part of their role, the Client Sales Manager will service existing accounts, hunt for new opportunities, develop new business and identify and propose capability from Vodafone's solutions. The role places the customers at its heart and the development of customer relationships are paramount for expanding the MOD portfolio across the account. The Client Sales Manager, with the support of the Senior Sales Manager, will ensure all aspects of the sales cycle are managed internally and externally with the client.
What will you be doing?
• Manage a diverse range of stakeholders across the Defence Account.
• Deliver sales briefing alongside technical specialists remotely, at a Vodafone Secure Site or at an MOD premises within the United Kingdom.
• Build a qualified pipeline across the MOD Direct portfolio.
• Exceed Net Promoter Scores (NPS) targets for all customers.
• Produce close plans, prepare customer proposals and manage the full lifecycle of the sale from won to transition and into delivery and beyond.
Who are we looking for?
• Expert knowledge on "How Defence Operates" in order to articulate MOD requirements into technical outputs.
• Experience in managing stakeholders within MOD, Support Functions (Defence Digital, DE&S) and Specialists Units.
• Ability to think strategically and drive innovative sales programmes and development roadmaps for all relevant opportunities.
• A team player who understands the security requirements when operating within Defence and can work effectively in a challenging high pace environment.
• Active DV Clearance is required
