Who we're looking for
The Investment Performance & Client Reporting Manager will lead the team responsible for the end-to-end delivery of timely, accurate and insightful client and investment performance reports across all asset classes. This role spans performance measurement, attribution analysis and all aspects of client reporting production and review, ensuring regulatory, business and client requirements are met to the highest standards.
The successful candidate will drive operational efficiency, digital innovation and process improvement across both performance and reporting disciplines, ensuring robust controls and a culture of quality. The role requires outstanding stakeholder management, leadership and the ability to coach, develop and motivate teams to deliver excellent client outcomes.
You will work cross-functionally, providing data, responding to queries, resolving exceptions, and ensuring all outputs are subject to effective controls and delivered within agreed KPIs and SLAs. The successful candidate will have proven experience in asset management operations, performance measurement, and client reporting, with a strong technical and regulatory grasp and high attention to detail.

What you'll do
- Lead and develop multi-skilled teams across the Client Reporting and Investment Performance functions, setting performance and development goals, conducting appraisals and 1:1s, and acting as a mentor.
- Oversee the end-to-end production, review and delivery of client and investment performance reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and adherence to evolving client, business and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the highest standards in the data and processes underpinning performance measurement, attribution and client reporting; manage resolution of queries, discrepancies and exceptions.
- Create, monitor and present Management Information (MI) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Maintain and continuously improve strong control and risk management processes, ensuring procedures and documentation are complete, current and effective.
- Build and manage relationships with internal clients (such as fund managers, client directors, product teams and senior management) and external partners, acting as a solutions-oriented contact point.
- Drive operational efficiencies, capacity creation, digital innovation and best practice in all processes and systems (e.g. B-One, Aladdin, Vermillion Reporting Suite).
- Lead and deliver process enhancements and reporting or performance-related projects.
- Remain up-to-date with industry, regulatory and technology trends; attend relevant conferences and contribute to relevant initiatives and projects.
- Act as an escalation point for the team, modelling a culture of quality, effective prioritisation and operational excellence.
- Provide relevant training to clients of the function's services.
- Support Head of Client Mandate Lifecycle and contribute to other key initiatives and projects as required.
- Owns the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and the Risk and Control Assessment (RCA) of the team.
- Monitor UST Service deliverables and escalate when service degrades.
- Ensure Training and procedures are up-to-date for UST teams.
What you'll be like
- Extensive experience in asset management operations, with proven leadership in investment performance and client reporting.
- Knowledge and experience in performance measurement or client reporting, attribution methodologies, and a thorough appreciation of different financial instruments (e.g. Fixed Income, Equities, Swaps, Derivatives).
- Excellent client focus and stakeholder management skills, with proven ability to build strong relationships at all levels and across global locations.
- Skilled in people management-coaching, developing, supporting and motivating teams to achieve exceptional standards.
- Strong technical proficiency in relevant systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Bi-Sam B-One, Aladdin, SQL, Access; experience with Vermillion Reporting Suite advantageous).
- Strong control focus and risk management mentality, ensuring robust governance of reporting and performance delivery.
- Creative, solutions-oriented and curious; focused on continuous improvement, adaptability and supporting innovation.
- Results-oriented with high attention to detail and an ability to deliver to tight deadlines and prioritise effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills-both written and verbal.
- Agile, open to feedback and change, and proactive in challenging the status quo for the benefit of team and client outcomes.
