Planning Manager

Job Description:

At iProspect, a dentsu company, we're not just any global digital-first end-to-end media agency. We believe all advertising is about performance, and all advertising can and should build brands today, and in the future.

We apply a performance mindset to all media to accelerate brands. We identify the opportunity at the intersection between brand and performance marketing, unlocking maximum effect to ensure every penny doesn't just create commercial success but drives positive change for the brand too.

We understand what got us here today, won't get us there tomorrow.

Experimentation along with collaboration is in our DNA. This ethos is how we collaborate with our people, clients and media partners to create game-changing work and are the attributes that create positive, long lasting client agency relationships.

The role
As the Planning Manager you will support one of the worlds biggest retailers, and one our longest Dentsu clients, IKEA.

  • You will be responsible for much of the daily running of the account, from feeding into comms planning client responses, to ensuring financial process is completed
  • You will sit within a core client team of 6 people (Manager inclusive), reporting into two Planning Directors, supported-by and directly line managing a Planning Executive
  • You will support the IKEA Planning Directors in using iProspect's planning process to develop end-to-end campaign planning and collaborating with our activation teams to ensure first class planning and seamless activation
  • You will be involved in execution of campaigns right from the initial media planning phase all the way through to the campaign wrap up reports
  • You will support the IKEA Planning Directors in using iProspect's planning process to develop end-to-end campaign planning and collaborating with our activation teams to ensure first class planning and seamless activation

Qualifications

  • You will understand media and advertising, with 2+ years' experience working on integrated marketing campaigns across above-the-line brand and performance client
  • You must be curious and passionate about the clients' businesses they work on, showing clear knowledge for the categories they operate in and challenges they face
  • You build with trust and partnership with clients
  • You should also be comfortable presenting to clients and be fluent when presenting or speaking to groups internally and externally

Benefits

  • You'll have a great compensation package, private health & dental insurance, corporate discounts and career development through Dentsu University, and free access to LinkedIn learning
  • 29+ days of annual leave (25 days of regular holidays, birthdays off and 3 additional wellness days)
  • We also offer the opportunity to volunteer for up to 2 days per year and tend to close down the agency between Christmas and New Years
  • You'll have a hybrid working schedule, with flexible start/end hours

As part of our Diversity and Inclusion agenda, and as an Equal Opportunities employer, if you require reasonable adjustments during the selection process please engage directly with your Recruiter

Through our global DEEI networks, and Proud, dentsu Together, Represent and Parents & Carers, we're proud to support equality and encourage our people to share experiences, and bring their whole selves into the workplace to celebrate what makes us unique.

If this sounds like your cup of tea, then we need you in our team.
