Carat are offering an incredible opportunity to work on media campaigns at the forefront of technological achievement on a progressive & ever-changing client. Our UK teams work across multiple global markets servicing the Microsoft line of business as an EMEA hub, focusing on the Microsoft Commercial account responsible for the Client's B2B product across EMEA and in the major local fields, driving exceptional results for our Client.

We're hiring for a Client Account Manager as part of our team in London.

Purpose of the Role

As Client Account Manager you'll report to the Account Director, collaborating closely to align media approach, set KPIs, and ensure the delivery of outstanding service to Microsoft. Together, the Account Director and Account Manager form a dynamic team dedicated to driving excellence in day-to-day tasks.

You'll serve as a central element within Carat Agency, responsible for facilitating communication and collaboration with other activation teams and ensuring alignment on client objectives and coordinating the collection of proposals tailored to meet these objectives. You'll play a crucial part in synthesizing insights from various teams, such as strategy, digital specialists, and media owners/ publishers to develop proposals that address the client's needs, ultimately delivering innovative and impactful solutions for Microsoft's B2B products across the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for the Microsoft account, understanding the client's business objectives and develop media proposals under the control of the EMEA Account Director.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to assist in the development of advertising and marketing campaigns for Microsoft's B2B products.
  • Ensure campaigns are executed flawlessly, on time, and within budget, while maximizing effectiveness and ROI.
  • Assist in monitoring campaign performance and KPIs and help derive insights to optimize strategies and support the preparation of performance reports and presentations for the client.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to support alignment on client objectives and deliverables.
  • Oversee financial management for the Microsoft account, ensuring efficient billing booking & reconciliation process.

Qualifications + Skills

  • Experience in media planning, account management, or related roles within a media agency or marketing environment. Experience in B2B is preferable.
  • An understanding of the digital media landscape and experience with digital marketing platforms and tools.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Experience of working with & managing multiple client stakeholders, managing client finances & billing tools.
  • It would be an advantage if you spoke another language, in particular French or German.

What we offer

This is a permanent role. The team is based in our London office but operates under flexible working arrangements. The team are currently in the office every Wednesday and Thursday, with flexibility needed around client visits and meetings.
