Your Impact

The Client Director is responsible for Professional Services sales and customer success. Collaborates with and supports Account Managers and provides specialist expertise within the sales team. Drives proactive campaigns to build the pipeline, uses specialized knowledge and skills to prospect, qualify, negotiate and close opportunities. May have named accounts allocated, cover a designated geography, or may be allocated to one high-potential, competitive attack account.

What the role offers

  • Client Directors are the primary contact for new business opportunities within their sectors and will fulfil the role of Services Account Managers.
  • Develops long term sales pipeline to increase the company's market share in specialized area of PS.
  • Use specialty expertise to seek out new opportunities for customer value by expanding and enhancing existing opportunities to build the pipeline in and drive pursuit in specialty area of Professional Services.
  • Focus on growing contractual PS extensions for large accounts with more complexity, to higher- total contract-value renewals.
  • Establish a professional, working, and consultative, relationship with the client, including the C- level for mid-to-large accounts by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the client within their industry.
  • Development, presentation and closing of proposals for professional services, including RFP/RFP responses.
  • Managing and ensuring timely delivery of SOW's, required approvals, together with managing contract status.

What you need to succeed

  • Strong track record of selling Professional Services to a wide variety of clients.
  • At least two years prior experience closing and directing engagements totalling at least $3 million in annual bookings.
  • Experience in services account development across various industry sectors.
  • Solid work ethic with a focus on delivering results to timescales (on time and on budget).
  • Expertise in complex business and technical processes and their implications across the enterprise. Knowledge of project management disciplines and processes.
  • Ability to understand the Open Text product offering and how associate such to client's business requirements, together with an ability to assess the requirements and provide a ballpark figure for discussion purposes.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client and internal meetings.
