We're hiring for a Client Director to join our team in London.

Purpose of the Role

As Client Director you'll own the day-to-day client relationship and all elements of delivery. This will include implementation of the strategic vision for the client, delivery against the financial targets set and building a trusted relationship with the client. You'll assist in leading the day to day of the Ferrero & Pernod Ricard accounts. This will be a 50/50 split across both clients, helping to upsell and drive new revenue streams where they see an opportunity.

You'll work closely with the client to analyse the briefs, ensuring the response to briefs matches the ambition to deliver best in class work, building close client relationships to ensure any areas of concern are quickly addressed. There will be a strong team of ADs, Managers and executives across both accounts that you will help to oversee and support in their development as well as work outputs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong client relationships as a trusted advisor with senior client and industry stakeholders, deepening the relationship to ensure retention and growth
  • Manage the team to ensure they also build strong relationships with their counterparts to deliver outstanding client service
  • Immerse yourself and team in clients' business: understanding their challenges, objectives, external economic environment, markets they operate in, competitive threats and relevant partner agencies; knows their business model, how it is performing and what success looks like; knows client's products inside out and applies this knowledge to deliver innovative, ambitious client plans and service
  • Use account plans to stimulate and track future work; manages resources effectively and manages systems for forecasting accurate spend and track progress
  • Translate agency strategy into innovative, executable business plans for your own client that deliver business value

Qualifications + Skills

  • Strong digital understanding with ability to talk confidently with the client on how their different digital platforms (including e-retail as a bonus) are delivering against the media plan and KPIs.
  • Experience with media planning experience from a comms planning background within a media agency.
  • Personable, confident with engaging key stakeholders with strong communication skills across all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle the fast pace of business with enthusiasm for the brands you represent.
  • Keen eye of detail and strong management skills, someone who can bring their team along with them and help them develop.

What we offer

This is a permanent role and can be based in our London office, operating under flexible working arrangements. The team are typically in the office twice a week on Wednesday and Thursday with flexibility needed for client visits.
