Dentsu is the network designed for what's next, helping clients predict and plan for disruptive future opportunities and create new paths to growth in the sustainable economy. Taking a people-centred approach to business transformation, we use insights to connect brand, content, commerce and experience, underpinned by modern creativity.

Purpose of the Role

We're looking for a Senior Analyst to join the dentsu Global Client Contract Compliance team. This role involves supporting the Senior Manager in managing client audits, and to ensure that the agency is complying with all aspects of its contractual commitments.

This position offers great exposure in commercial strategy and analysis within a leading media agency, providing opportunities for cross-functional collaboration. The role is dynamic, challenging, and critical in enhancing the Compliance team's contribution to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting Client Contract Compliance Audits:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams and external auditors.
  • Coordinate audit schedules with clients, auditors, and internal teams.
  • Ensuring audit data requests align with the Master Service Agreement (MSA) terms.
  • Collect, review, and provide data for audit fieldwork.
  • Review draft audit reports and ensure that agency comments are factually accurate.
  • Recommend and implement any corrective actions and escalate key issues and support managing stakeholder expectations.

Audit Action Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Maintain an audit tracker to monitor audit status and action items.
  • Log actions in response to audit findings, including financial settlements, and track implementation of remediation actions.
  • Prepare quarterly reporting summarising key audit metrics for the UK/I Risk & Compliance Committee meetings.

Others:

  • Collaborate with the Commercial team to apply the correct interpretation of contractual commitments and reporting thereof, including liaison with affiliate entities.
  • Support the Senior Manager in implementing internal controls framework across the market, including internal spot checks, reviewing the existing control processes, and suggesting improvements.
  • Ad-hoc support for the wider Global Contract Compliance team.

Qualifications + Skills

  • Experience in a finance/audit related role at an international media agency or in audit and assurance at an accountancy firm.
  • Strong working knowledge of finance and audit processes and procedures.
  • Commercially minded with a natural ability to identify issues and create solutions in a collaborative manner.
  • Capability to handle large volumes of complex data sets (financial and written word) and extract relevant information.
  • Proactive approach, a logical and analytical thought process, with good attention to detail and high level of accuracy in their output.
  • Agile-minded and comfortable working within a complex industry and across different cultural backgrounds.
  • Relevant accountancy qualifications (CIMA, ACA, or IIA) are useful but not essential for role.

What we offer

  • This is a permanent role.
  • The team is based in our London office but operates under flexible working arrangements.
  • As well as a competitive salary, you'll enjoy a benefits package that you can tailor to your needs.

Our diverse and inclusive culture enables our employees to bring their whole selves to work and be proud of doing so. For us, this is the foundation for great innovation which, in turn, generates better outcomes for our people, partners and communities. This is why we encourage applications from people with disabilities, and of all ages, nationalities, backgrounds and cultures.

We are happy to discuss flexible and agile approaches to working for all our roles - we can't promise we will be able to offer you everything you want or need but we do promise to discuss it with you openly and honestly. If you have any reasonable adjustment needs arising from a disability or medical condition to fully participate in the recruitment process, please discuss this with our recruitment teams.
