Overview
We are hiring a Client Accounting Manager to play a pivotal role at the heart of our finance team, partnering closely with client and agency teams to drive commercial clarity and accuracy. This is an opportunity to shape how financial performance is delivered across a diverse portfolio of high-profile clients, influencing decisions that support business transformation. You'll be joining a collaborative environment where finance, creativity and data come together to deliver meaningful impact. What you'll be doing:
- Lead the financial management of a portfolio of client accounts, acting as the go-to partner for finance queries
- Guide end-to-end project financials, from onboarding through to billing, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Review and approve costs, ensuring they align to budgets, contracts and internal policies
- Collaborate with client and account teams to support smooth delivery and financial integrity
- Own revenue recognition, reporting and month-end processes, ensuring deadlines are consistently met
- Analyse financial performance including WIP, accrued income and margins, identifying risks and opportunities
- Identify and implement improvements to processes, increasing efficiency and clarity across ways of working
Skills we're looking for:
- Strong financial and analytical capability, with confidence across multiple projects
- Experience managing client or project-based financials within a commercial environment
- Comfortable using Excel for analysis and reporting
- A collaborative approach, with the ability to build strong relationships across teams
- High attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Ability to prioritise effectively and manage competing deadlines
- A continuous improvement mindset, with an interest in enhancing systems and processes
