Purpose of the Role
The Client Account Director (FTC) at Carat will lead the day‑to‑day management of the Kraft Heinz Mayo & Soups brands. This role drives strategic direction, fosters creativity, and ensures strong ROI across all campaigns.
As the primary liaison between Carat and Kraft Heinz, the CAD oversees the development and delivery of tailored media strategies, elevating best practices and ensuring high‑quality work. They will build strong client relationships, guide a skilled team, and translate market insight and industry expertise into effective, innovative media plans that support both client and agency growth.
The Client Account Director reports to the Client Director and works closely with them across all initiatives. Given the people‑focused culture of the Heinz business, establishing strong, collaborative client relationships is essential to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Act as primary contact for Mayo & Soups, building strong stakeholder relationships and aligning media strategies to client goals.
- Strategic Planning: Lead development of innovative, insight‑driven media plans across AV, Social, Digital, and OOH, collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
- Campaign Execution: Oversee end‑to‑end campaign delivery-optimisation, performance analysis, and KPI management-ensuring activity is on time, on budget, and ROI‑focused.
- Performance Optimisation: Use market insights, data analysis, and CMM tools to refine media plans and drive continuous growth for the Heinz business.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor account managers and executives, fostering a high‑performance culture, clear development plans, and adoption of best‑practice planning frameworks.
- Financial Management: Oversee budget allocation, forecasting, billing, and overall financial performance to ensure efficiency and account profitability.
Person Specification
- Client‑Centric Mindset: Approachable, detail‑oriented, highly organised, and naturally curious, with a strong focus on understanding and supporting client needs.
- Industry Expertise: 5+ years' experience in media planning or account management with solid knowledge of AV, Social, Digital, and OOH landscapes.
- Campaign Excellence: Proven ability to deliver successful, insight‑driven campaigns that support growth and meet business objectives.
- Relationship Building: Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to present persuasively and build rapport across client and internal teams.
- Leadership & Development: Experienced in coaching and developing talent, fostering high performance and effective team collaboration.
- Analytical Thinking: Data‑driven decision‑maker confident in interpreting insights, rationalising planning choices, and applying sound planning principles.
