Job Description
- Suffolk County Council - Various Locations in Suffolk / Hybrid
- £36,124 - £45,595 per annum (pro rata for part time)
- Plus retention payment of up to £4,000 per year (pro rata for part time)
- Full time or part time hours available
- Permanent
Job roles available:
- Social Workers:£36,124 - £39,513 per annum, plus £4,000 annual retention payment (pro rata for part time)
- Senior Social Workers:£40,215 - £45,595 per annum, plus £3,500 annual retention payment (pro rata for part time)

Your role
You will manage a diverse caseload, working with children from pre-birth to 18 years, from the point of initial referral. This would include undertaking Social Work Assessments, working with children and families under Child in Need and Child Protection Planning, progressing matters within the court arena, including both public and private law proceedings.
The Team
We are based at Landmark House in Ipswich, and cover the South Ipswich area.
As part of the team comprising of workers with an array of skills and expertise, you will be able to develop your social work practice and experience within a supportive team culture. Partnership working is a particular strength within the team and there is scope for you to build meaningful working relationships across an array of services to develop your role both now and in the future"

What you need
- a relevant social work qualification and Social Work England registration
- to hold a full and current driving licence and have access to personal transport or meet the mobility requirements of the role through other reasonable and suitable means.
