Salary: £195,792
Location: Dudley
Dudley Council is on an exciting journey of improvement with a new sense of direction to put the Borough at the forefront of the West Midlands economy.
This is a great opportunity for a forward-thinking, motivational and inspirational leader who can work with the political leadership to articulate the administration's political priorities whilst understanding the challenges the Council is facing in terms of its financial sustainability.
Candidates will be expected to establish a positive and productive leadership culture, be able to continue to lead on the Council's transformational journey of improvement and will need to deliver at pace.
Our new Chief Executive will have experience of Local Government with an excellent track record of achievement and will have the commitment and passion to drive this Council forward, providing significant strategic contribution with strong, visible overall leadership and management of the Council through its Strategic Leadership Team.
This role provides an opportunity to make a real impact and to develop a culture of new ideas and ways of working to ensure we deliver services that support and enable the communities we serve.
