The team

The Transformation Operations team is responsible for ITV's ongoing transformation, on behalf of the Management Board. We work with teams from all across ITV, driving the delivery of programmes and making sure we're prioritising the people side too.

The role

We are currently looking for a Business Change and Training Lead who will own Learning & Training and support Change activity for the RACS transformation programme. The role will manage the end-to-end Training plan, development of content and delivery of Training sessions.

The Lead will use best practice principles for managing the delivery of Change and Training using a human centric approach and winning hearts and minds across this important programme of work.

The RACS programme has been established to transform the way ITV systemises and exploits rights and how it manages and fulfils its financial obligations. Rights are the 'stock in trade' of ITV, the IP fundamental for the business to be able to maximise the value of its production, procurement, use and distribution of content. It is a highly complex transformation programme that touches every part of ITV's business and will drive significant transformation to processes, ways of working and technology over the coming years. Change management and specifically adoption of the new tool and ways of working will be critical to this Programme's success.

The role will entail but not be limited to:

  • Maintaining the Change Impact Assessment and using this to update the existing Training Curriculum and Training and Change Plans; Supporting the facilitation of training sessions
  • Owning the training development and delivery plan, which covers a variety of training methods; this will involve coordinating with and agreeing support from different stakeholders across the programme
  • Overseeing and contributing to the development of innovative and engaging training materials in multiple formats to meet different learning needs, including the review and sign-off process
  • Overseeing the set-up and coordination of training sessions; capturing feedback and identify improvements
  • Owning the management of a Change Network, including the preparation and delivery of regular meetings, and collaborating with other team members to agree and prepare for their involvement in programme activities e.g. Training Delivery, Testing and Support Model
  • Defining and delivering an approach to measure change and training readiness and effectiveness (including adoption); implementing activity to address any barriers or resistance (e.g. additional training sessions)
  • Tracking business change and training progress against plan, raising and managing risks, issues and dependencies using programme governance
  • Supporting ongoing development of ITV change methodologies and materials to build change capability

Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)

  • Extensive experience working in Change & Training roles
  • Demonstrable experience of owning Change and Training activity for a transformation programme within a complex organisation
  • Maturity of skills and breadth of experience in training and change management principles, methodology and tools
  • Experience of working closely and influencing senior stakeholders and programme sponsors

  • Strong consultative, relationship management, networking and influencing skills
  • A proactive, resilient, forward-thinking team player
  • Preferable: experience as a management consultant
  • Preferable: experience within a media organisation
