Change Manager - integration

A University based in London is seeking a Change Manager - integration to start as soon as possible on an interesting 1 year fixed term contract basis - 3 days on site in London and you will be immediately available or at very short notice (no more than 1 month notice period) to start the role.
You will work as part of the Change team which is a central resource to help the university deliver change more effectively, creating a positive impact on the student and staff experience and will play a pivotal role in the successful integration of the university and another educational institution.

The Change Manager will be responsible for leading and delivering key change milestones in the post-merger integration plan. The role focuses on the people side of change in relation to changes to business processes, systems, technology, job roles, and organisational structures.
- You will lead a range of change activities relating to the University's integration as the university works through all elements of review including, scoping; identification of potential opportunities; design of new ways of working, planning and implementation. Depending on the scope and size of the project to coordinate and / or project manage delivery.
- To work closely with stakeholders across the University to ensure stakeholder requirements are captured; facilitate discussion around potential areas for improvement ensuring solutions support successful integration, demonstrate value for money and effectiveness for staff and students.
- To work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, building effective working relationships across City St George's to maximise employee engagement with integration activities.
- Provide support and coaching for line managers to assess and redesign internal processes and ways of working. This involves understanding, influencing and coaching a range of colleagues at all levels.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Project and Business Analysts to integrate change management activities with business analysis activities and the overall integration plan.
- To identify, analyse and interpret relevant data and management information data, to assist in demonstrating potential areas for improvement and measurable benefits.
- Monitor, review and evaluate changes and ensure that outcomes and benefits are realised.
- Present analysis and recommendations, both orally and in writing as required. Communicate both data driven, and conceptual information effectively to a variety of audiences, including the clear demonstration of outcomes and benefits.
Ideally you will have experience of change management with mergers / have worked in the higher education sector though this is not essential.
This is a busy and exciting role which will enable you to gain experience in an organisation going through a merger.
