About the role

Are you passionate about driving impactful change that puts people at the heart of transformation? As a Change Manager at NFU Mutual, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our organisation, customers, and partners are ready to embrace change and realise its full benefits. Working within the NFU Mutual Change Framework, you'll manage the impact of programme and project activity, helping embed change into business as usual and ensuring strategic outcomes are achieved.

In this influential role, you'll anticipate and assess the impact of change across the business, identifying risks and shaping the actions needed to deliver successful outcomes. You'll contribute to and drive change management strategies and plans, ensuring activities are aligned with programme goals and communicated effectively.

You'll lead stakeholder engagement, resolve concerns, and secure buy-in from senior leaders. Working closely with benefit owners and adoption leads, you'll track and measure progress to maximise improvements and ensure benefits continue to accrue post-delivery. You'll also prepare business areas for transition, applying readiness criteria to support go/no-go decisions and ensure seamless integration into operations.

As a champion of continuous improvement, you'll help evolve our change management practices and contribute to a one-team collaborative approach across the portfolio. You'll also inspire and develop your team, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and excellence.

About you

You're an experienced change management professional with a proven track record of delivering successful business outcomes. You bring a structured approach to change management and thrive in dynamic environments where stakeholder engagement and strategic thinking are key. Your skills include:

  • Change management using structured methodologies.
  • End-to-end project delivery and benefit realisation.
  • Risk identification and mitigation during change.
  • Stakeholder mapping and engagement planning.
  • Impact analysis across business units.
  • Clear and effective communication with diverse audiences.
  • Strategic leadership and team guidance.
  • Cross-functional collaboration and alignment.
  • Problem-solving in response to change resistance.
  • Adaptability to evolving business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Change Management Certification Practitioner (Prosci preferred) - Essential
  • Project or Programme Management certification (e.g. Prince2, APM, Agile) - Desirable
  • Degree or equivalent experience - Desirable
