About the Role:

The overarching objective of Change Management is to ensure the organisation is engaged and ready for change and that change is adopted and sustained by our people. Our Change Manager roles are a key point of contact & consultation for significant internal programs & projects.

You will deliver strategic advice to project stakeholders on the best way to successfully drive & monitor adoption of changes to ensure we achieve the full benefit realisation of any deliveries that require significant behavioural changes.

You will need to assist in embedding changes and new behaviours throughout any stage of the project lifecycle, including the pre and post-delivery phases of projects, more generally helping management and teams to get ready for project launch and then providing ongoing support after Go-Live.

You will follow an organisational approach & methodology, which needs to be adaptive for various cultural differences. This would include development of project change plans, change stakeholder & impact assessment, stakeholder management, leadership engagement, communications strategy, capability development and assessment, supporting documentation, training strategy, change readiness measurement & status reporting during a project, visualisations / simulations of future state for employees (day-in-the-life), support systems, change, monitoring of user adoption and resistance management plans.

Finally, you understand the impact of transformation and assist in defining your stakeholders' new ways of working, ensuring the business is ready for the change and that projects are embedded rapidly & effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be a consultant & role model by helping to develop, drive, complete & adapt change plans and tools for the various projects and programs of work impacting on our people

• Apply change management methods, processes and tools to support the projects and initiatives. in achieving the required adoption

• Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders and areas of potential resistance in line with the CM service levels

• Represent the need for clear and defined measures of success / user adoption metrics and monitor change progress / user adoption

• Identify and plan for any anticipated resistance and support the business in implementing resistance management

• Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs

• Build strong relationships with the business stakeholders, through a solid and empathetic understanding of the projects impacts on people, to assist in shaping and delivering projects and their associated change plans.

• Work to build and gain maximum buy-in from change networks

• Feed into the LM Re Enterprise Change Plan ensuring that (1) Change activity is effectively connected across the business (2) Supports the business in building and maturing the Change Management capability (3) 'Capacity & mood' of the business is effectively better understood and managed

• Actively contribute to helping mature the Change management team through being visible in team meetings and promoting the team and capability positively through your business networks

• Build strong relationships with Communications function to effectively support project and programme change requirements and ensure connection of strategies and plans

• Work with the business to identify new change opportunities that haven't been considered as part of anything else (and where approved by COO) assist to develop preliminary business cases

• Work with change sponsors to help coach them in how to perform their role effectively to the benefit of the change being implemented

• Adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements forms part of your role, and the demonstration of behaviours as set out in the Conduct Risk Policy, as they relate to your role, is core to LSM's commitment to our Liberty Values, placing customers at the centre of our business and behaving with integrity. Skills and Experience:

• Experience and knowledge of implementing change management principles, methodologies and tools e.g. PROSCI/ADKAR/APMG across multiple projects and programs

• Experience developing and driving the successful delivery of multiple change plans (including resistance management)

• Experience in organisation design and/or in driving cultural/ behavioural change amongst diverse groups of people and cultures

• Strong understanding of the change journey, people impact and ability to navigate this process when implementing a new way of working

• Excellent communication skills with a good level of negotiation, influencing and presentation skills

• Flexible and adaptable; able to work in complex, interdependent scenarios and situations

• Experience as part of a team implementing a major programmes of change

• Experience with project management approaches (Agile / Waterfall), tools and phases of the project lifecycle

• A passion for driving operational and cultural change with a specific focus on delivering exceptional customer experience and results oriented approach.

• A recognised change management qualification or equivalent experience most desirable e.g. PROSCI//APMG

• Self-starter with a team mentality comfortable in an environment that may require adaptable approaches to be successful

• Experience working directly with senior stakeholders with the ability to apply influence to ensure the desired outcomes
