Role Title: Catering Partner

Contract Type: Permanent 

Hours of Work: Full time 37.5 per week including weekends. Earliest start time 06:00, latest finish time 20:00

Salary: £12.89 -£13.15 per hour, negotiable dependent on skills and experience

About the role

  • Working as part of a team of catering assistants to ensure a smooth service is provided in accordance with all relevant procedures. 

  • To ensure food available to meet service requirements. 

  • To act promptly on any customer comments, using initiative to resolve them where possible and report issues or unsolvable day-to-day problems to the line manager

  • To ensure accurate completion of all legal paperwork in line with Branch operational standards. 

  • Completion of food safety duties. 

  • Smooth day to day running of the catering service

  • Achievement of the required Internal & External Audit results. 

  • Positive customer feedback from Partners 

  • Achieving and exceeding day to day catering standards

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working as part of a team of catering assistants to ensure a smooth service is provided in accordance with all relevant procedures.

  • To ensure stock available to meet service requirements, with attention being given to controlling wastage and ensuring food is rotated and no items are left beyond their sell by date.

  • To act promptly on any customer comments, using initiative to resolve them where possible and report issues or unsolvable day-to-day problems to the line manager.

  • To ensure accurate completion of all legal paperwork in line with Branch operational standards.

  • Daily, weekly, Monthly completion of Health & Hygiene duties.

  • The role requires you to be standing & walking for the whole shift, including working in a hot environment.

  • Maintaining a clean and hygiene compliant workstation

  • Preparing meals for Service

  • Washing up and using dishwasher equipment

Essential skills you’ll need 

  • An interest in food and cooking

  • A passion for customer service

Desirable skills you might have

  • Previous hospitality or customer service experience 

  • Knowledge food safety and hygiene procedure

  • Experience of working in a fast paced environment

  • Works well under pressure 

  • Working as part of a small team

  • An ability to use imagination and be creative
