Term time only (38 weeks of the year)

We are looking for a competent and efficient Catering Manager to join our School kitchen team. You will have the responsibility for the running and management of the school's kitchen including the preparation, cooking and service of food ensuring that efficient and economic use is made of all resources and the highest standards of hygiene and food safety are maintained. stocktaking, stock ordering, to plan, operate and control the production and service of food related duties. To devise set programmes of work for catering staff and to supervise the work of catering staff on a daily basis.,
There are two members of the Kitchen Team, you will be expected to work 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, during school term time only. The hours will be covering the School kitchen 08.30 - 14.00. Training is provided.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organised individual wishing to join an effective and supportive team, in a role where no two days are the same.
You must hold at least 2 years' experience working and cooking in a kitchen and you must hold at least a Level 2 Food Safety certificate. Ideally, we are looking for someone who holds a Level 3 in Food Safety although the school will invest in the relevant training to achieve a level 3 certification.
