Job Title: Catering Manager

Location: Fortrea Clinical Research Unit, Drapers Yard, Leeds, LS11 9EH

Salary: Up to £30,000

As a Catering Manager at Sodexo in Leeds, you are a leader and a driving force for effective service delivery. This role is crucial in ensuring our catering teams operate in full compliance with client contracts and Sodexo's policies while maintaining a focus on quality and operational efficiency.

What you'll do:
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the catering teams to ensure compliance with service scope and client contracts.
• Maintain labour and other costs within the unit budget while managing stock control and ordering.
• Ensure adherence to all Sodexo HR policies, including the appraisal process and staff training.
• Communicate effectively with cleaning supervisors and hold regular team meetings to promote a positive working environment.
• Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, as well as quality assurance standards.

What you bring:
• Previous experience of managing and leading a team, with a commitment to service excellence.
• Strong commercial knowledge and understanding of the contract catering industry.
• Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and food hygiene policies.
• Excellent communication skills and good literacy and numeracy abilities.
• Computer literacy and the ability to prioritise and deploy resources effectively.
