Contract Manager (Catering) - Ref: EE12124

G7 £32,654-£37,035 per annum

  • Permanent: 37 hours per week
  • Working arrangements - Blended working to include daily site visits
  • Hours to meet needs of Service 6.30am - 5pm

Soft FM require a Catering Contracts Manager to provide management of financial contracts and personnel resources for Walsall Catering within a designated geographical area. Forming and maintaining successful proactive relationships with internal departments and external contracts within the education service.

You will also work in partnership with Public health and Education to meet school standards and support any Walsall Catering/national projects e.g. Food for Life.

The role will include the monitoring and review of financial contracts, Health and Safety requirements, performance management, system reporting, HR and sickness absence. This will involve maintaining and developing a strong team through effective support of recruitment, training and administration. A highly organised approach is required to a busy and varied schedule.

Experience in a catering environment at management level would be advantageous. The management of front-line service delivery, to include fleet and drivers and experience in school meal provision and associated policy and procedure, e.g. Government school standards, allergens and food safety, food cost / supplier management, menu development would also be beneficial. The role is very diverse and reactive and effective time management and organisational skills are imperative.

The role requires you to hold an Industry specific Management Qualification Level 3 or equivalent experience, an NVQ level 2 or above in Hospitality or Catering or equivalent and to hold a level 3 supervising Food Safety Certificate

If qualifications are not held a willingness to gain required qualifications within a set timescale.
