Key Responsibilities & Purpose:
- Channel insights- lead the narrative & implications on overall channel insights sitting above the category - state of the nation, consumer trends, economic trends.
- Project/ Deep dive into broader business topics and priorities aligned across the category team - e.g. RTD category story, Alc Free strategy
- Own the topline narrative of the TBA category across the off-trade channel- Category trends, shopper trends, category performance.
- Ownership of sprints on key category topics
- Future category thinking - work closely with consumer planning and shopper insights to bring the latest insight into the category team and customers.
- Proximity to insight agencies
- Champion our Consumer Choice Framework.
Key Routines and Relations:
- Comfortable managing big projects through to execution - insight
- Working with multiple external collaborators - Agency and Retailers
- Act as a key link between the Category Development team & Marketing, Consumer Planning & SRG
- Play an important role as a coach and mentor across the wider team - particularly upskilling and developing category insight capabilities.
- Comfortable working in partnership with cross functional teams - Sales, Marketing, Channel performance manager
- Strengthen and embed the relationship between consumer planning and category development - create efficiencies on key insights, takeaways, and external focus.
