Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Elective Outpatient Booking Manager within our Cardiology Department. The post will be based at Eastbourne District General Hospital but will also include some cross-site working. We would welcome applications from candidates who are enthusiastic, motivated and conscientious individuals with excellent interpersonal skills .
Main duties of the job
You will need to have an understanding of organisational and departmental objectives and be used to working in a multi-disciplinary team. You will need to have knowledge of national performance targets and be able to demonstrate excellent leadership qualities. You should be a team player, with the ability to manage your own workload, be able to balance tact and assertiveness and combine the ability to work calmly and patiently in an extremely busy team. Ideally you will have some Cardiology knowledge as well as some supervisory skills.
