YOUR ROLE
As an Oracle Solution Architect you will be responsible for architecting and delivering end-to-end Oracle Cloud solutions (HCM / ERP) tailored to the needs of our clients. This role combines deep Oracle expertise with strategic thinking and leadership, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with both client objectives and industry best practices.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking to build or expand their experience within government or public sector environments. While prior public sector experience is advantageous, it is not essential-what matters most is the ability to apply structured thinking, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement skills in a regulated setting. The knowledge and capabilities developed in this role are highly transferable to private sector contexts, making it an ideal position for professionals looking to broaden their impact across industries.
- Grow our Oracle business across Public and Private Sector clients.
- Architect and design Oracle Cloud solutions that meet the complex needs of (public sector) clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory and security standards.
- Lead solution design workshops, translating business requirements into robust Oracle architectures across HCM / ERP.
- Oversee delivery teams, ensuring the technical integrity, performance, and quality of Oracle implementations.
- Provide strategic guidance to clients on Oracle roadmap planning, integration strategies, and transformation governance.
- Support business development through solutioning, proposal development, and client presentations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, data migration, and system optimization.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Oracle Cloud capabilities and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
- Lead and mentor junior consultants, fostering a collaborative environment to ensure high quality delivery of Oracle solutions aligned with client objectives and timelines
As part of your role, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth through the following areas:
- Business Development - Lead proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitches, and hosting at events.
- Internal Contribution - Lead campaign development, internal think tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events), and offering development.

YOUR PROFILE
An ideal candidate will combine deep Oracle expertise with strategic insight and leadership capabilities. You will demonstrate:
- Proven experience in Oracle Cloud architecture (HCM, ERP, or both), including integration, data migration, and security design.
- Strong understanding of public sector operating models, procurement processes, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing client relationships in large-scale transformation programs.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on innovation, collaboration, and delivering sustainable value.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
Optional:
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or Oracle Cloud Applications Architect Certification (preferred)
- SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain (required for government projects)
- Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
- Experience of proposition building and delivery.
- Business development - utilising a combination of the organisation's broader pre-existing relationships, company relationships and your own network.
