About The Role

Our teams work super hard. So it's only right we fill them with good hearty food to keep them going. Our Canteen Team Managers ensure fresh, wholesome food is served on a daily basis in order to fuel our colleagues. As well as ensuring good food is being served, they also manage a kitchen team responsible for creating the culinary delights.

Overall, the focus will be to develop, organise and lead your catering team from the front, to ensure that you consistently achieve excellent standards in food quality, food hygiene, productivity and service. Main responsibilities for the role include:

  • Maintaining great engagement levels
  • Supporting team with menu choice and variety / themed days
  • Managing food safety and hygiene standards / BRC
  • Ensuring full coverage
  • Managing all training aspects
  • The focus will be to develop, organise and lead your catering team from the front, to ensure that you consistently achieve excellent standards in food quality, food hygiene, productivity and service

About You

As well as the ability to lead and motivate a team (and a genuine love for food) you will also:

  • Experience in a supervisory role within a similar environment
  • Have qualifications in catering and food safety - preferably Food Safety Level 3 or equivalent;
  • Be a clear advocate of people engagement and continuous improvement
  • Have strong leadership and influential skills and deliver great communication
  • Demonstrate an ability to explore and be inventive in supporting new ideas, events and activities throughout the year
  • Be flexible in your approach to see the best from your Teams achieved
