We have an exciting opportunity for a Cancer Services Manager to join our Multidisciplinary, specialist Cancer team at The London Clinic. The key purpose of this role is to develop and deliver operational improvements through the clinical pathways. This fundamental role is based at our award winning Cancer Center-the Duchess of Devonshire Wing. We are offering a competitive salary range starting from £70,000 per annum dependant on experience.

The London Clinic is one of the UK's largest independently owned non-profit hospital, and we have been providing exceptional care since 1932. We have 8 premises, where we perform highly complex procedures as well as routine surgery & medicine.

Our main hospital spans 8 floors comprising of 234 beds and 10 theatres, and The Duchess of Devonshire Wing is our award-winning cancer centre, which includes state-of-the-art radiotherapy, chemotherapy suites and 47 dedicated patient bedrooms for Oncology & Haematology patients.

Job Profile

T he Cancer Services Manager will provide the leadership and development to support the operational efficiency and delivery of cancer services, ensuring and being accountable for high quality, cost effective services. This post will lead the administration team in the Oncology Hub and operational optimization programs for cancer services at The London Clinic.

  • Job Type: This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week.
  • Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday ; 9am-5.30pm
  • Job Location: Duchess of Devonshire Wing, 22 Devonshire Place (Close to Regents Park/Baker St tube stations).
  • Salary: From £70,000/annum

Key Duties

  • Provide leadership, to the Oncology Hub team (Administration)
  • Plan, develop, deliver and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective, timely and patient focused specialist haematology/oncology services
  • Together with the clinical teams engage teams to continually improve quality of care and patient experience for haematology and oncology services
  • To collaborate with quality managers to ensure CHKS standards are met for operational day case cancer service at The London Clinic
  • Support key quality improvement and cost improvement plans within the delivery of cancer services at The London Clinic, including business development or growth opportunities
  • To work together with nursing and AHP leads to ensure governance, safety and quality metrics are measured and achieved for the services .
