Campus Security Manager, GSRS, Physical Security

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working on international programs.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience of working with vendors, suppliers and managing a contracted guard force.
• Experience within a security or related environment including management of key stakeholders.
• Ability to take a multi-disciplinary approach towards security management and country resilience.

As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to inform protocols and practices to assess and mitigate potential risks to Google. Co-ordinate with security partners to make risk based recommendations about posture and resource allocation.
• Reporting directly into the Cluster Security Manager, based in the United Kingdom.
• Assist with corporate safety and security standards, policies, and practices, including managing daily operations of security and safety vendors and providing services, life-safety systems, training, drills, ergonomics, investigations, and risk assessment.
• Manage ongoing and upcoming building projects at multiple office locations across the United Kingdom in partnership with Internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage security operations in the United Kingdom in support of the Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
