The Campaign Marketing Manager will be responsible for supporting the development, execution, and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, client acquisition, and revenue growth across a number of business areas. This role requires a level of strategic thinking, creativity, and a strong understanding of various marketing channels and tools. The ideal candidate will have some experience managing end-to-end marketing campaigns and working cross-functionally with different teams.
This role would suit a marketing manager who is results-driven, strategic marketer with some experience in developing client-centric growth marketing strategies. Strong stakeholder and team management skills and the ability to drive campaign delivery to impactful outcomes are essential attributes.
- Partner with the business to develop a clear strategic direction, an actionable 'go-to-market strategy and campaign plan for the respective sector or capability area
- Support the development of an integrated approach across Corporate Affairs & Marketing to align services, messages and sales opportunities
- Contribute to the delivery of the marketing strategy to drive brand awareness and engagement; supporting every stage of the sale, create opportunities for relationship development and ensure we engage internally with messaging on all our activities
- Measure value creation and ROI [set against agreed objectives and targets] directly contributing to the firm's business growth agenda
- Drive a data led approach to champion digital and use of CRM with the marketing team and across the business
Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Strategy and Planning:
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and the business development teams across Priority Sector and Capability areas
- o Brings a commercial mindset and has ability to spot the opportunity in the delivery of campaigns and projects
- o Delivery of high performing end to end brand, lead generation and sales campaigns - from click to client
- o Inspirational team leader and intuitive manager - creating a collaborative, high performing team virtually, across the country and potentially offshore
- o Future focused - ability to challenge, be challenged on key ideas and concepts, to foresee the potential impact and value creation of marketing activities
- o Some experience in developing value propositions for services and market-defining marketing campaigns, as well as effectively managing associated budgets
- Identify target audiences and appropriate marketing channels
- Create campaign budgets and timelines
- Campaign Execution:
- Constantly reviewing better ways of doing things and leveraging tech and digital platforms to deliver high performing campaigns and activities
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., creative, product, sales) and external vendors to ensure timely and effective campaign delivery
- Performance Tracking and Optimization:
- Set KPIs and performance metrics for campaigns
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance data to identify trends and insights
- Optimise campaigns based on performance data to improve ROI and achieve targets
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and coordinate other team members
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of campaign activities
- Drive interaction with other teams across Marketing & Corporate Affairs, as well as other sales enablement teams to deliver a connected one team culture
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on campaign progress and outcomes
- Champion the KPMG brand and purpose across our marketing team and our business to make sure that we stand out from the crowd
- Role model our marketing capability to ensure best practice across the firm
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Leverage market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and client/market behaviours.
- Use client insights and metrics to inform campaign strategies and decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Ideally to degree level. A relevant second degree or professional industry qualification welcome.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on marketing/campaign management.
- Experience working in a professional services environment would be a distinct advantage
- Proven track record of developing and executing impactful and effective marketing campaigns.
- Professional services/sector experience highly valued
- Knowledge of digital channels, including SEO/SEM, PPC, as well as CRM [MSD].
- Skills:
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms (e.g., CRM software, marketing automation tools, analytics tools)
