Cable Systems Compliance Manager

What you'll do

As a Cable Systems Compliance Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the integrity of our submarine and terrestrial cable systems, working on a high-impact, multi-party international consortium project.
- Lead compliance management - Develop, implement, and maintain a robust compliance programme to mitigate financial crime and integrity risks.
- Engage with stakeholders - Collaborate with internal and external partners, including project Compliance Working Groups, to assess risks and implement mitigating actions.
- Oversee third-party risk - Conduct due diligence, monitor compliance obligations, and ensure adherence to anti-bribery, AML, sanctions, and trade control regulations.
- Drive training and awareness - Design and deliver compliance training programmes to employees and third parties.
- Monitor and assure compliance - Conduct audits, manage external assurance activities, and oversee transaction monitoring related to Vodafone's cable systems projects.
Who you are
- A compliance expert with 3+ years' experience in a compliance role, ideally with knowledge of anti-corruption laws like the UK Bribery Act and FCPA.
- Experienced in risk management, compliance frameworks, and ethical decision-making.
- A strong communicator who can influence and build relationships across teams and external partners.
- Exceptionally organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines.
- Ideally, holds a Compliance & Ethics qualification (e.g., ICA, SCCE - desirable).

- Discretionary yearly bonus: 10%
- Annual leave: 28 days + bank holidays + the opportunity to buy/sell/carry over 5 days/year

- Maternity/adoption leave: 52 weeks out of whichthe first 13 weeks are fully paid followed by 26 weeks of half pay and 6 months - working 4 days, getting paid 5
