Business Support Manager - Cleaning (FTC)

We are looking for a Business Support Manager to join our corporate cleaning team on an interim basis (3-6 months). The role holder will be responsible for providing comprehensive operational and administrative support to ensure the efficient management and execution of school & corporate cleaning contracts.

Duties:

The role holder will be responsible for ensuring smooth day to day supervision of a number of allocated sites, coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders, managing client relationships, and supporting business development initiatives to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, serving as the primary point of contact and serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular/monthly/termly meetings with clients to review service quality, gather feedback, and address any concerns or improvements.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient administrative processes.
  • Assist in the administration and management of cleaning contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Coordinate contract renewals, amendments, and extensions.
  • Support the coordination and execution of cleaning services, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
  • Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of cleaning staff.
  • Maintain and update operational records, including employee rosters, work schedules, equipment inventories, and service logs.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, bids, and presentations for potential clients.
  • Maintain detailed records of contract terms, service levels, and client communications.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field would be preferred.
  • experience in a business support, supervisory or administrative role, preferably within the cleaning or facilities management industry.
  • Excellent understanding of cleaning services and associated services relevant to the requirements of the role, or transferable knowledge and experience from a related relevant sector
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations, cleaning industry standards, and best practices.
  • Experience with scheduling and inventory management systems.
  • Willingness to travel to various school cleaning & corporate sites as required.

Working Arrangements:

  • Working pattern: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Location: You will be predominantly site/office based.
  • Other: An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.
