Person specification

Education/Qualification

Essential criteria

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
  • Project management qualification or equivalent experience
  • Evidence of continuing professional development

Desirable criteria

  • Management qualification
  • Educated to master's level or equivalent experience

Knowledge and experience

Essential criteria

  • Significant experience at senior level. In a large complex health / social care or equivalent setting.
  • Project Management experience or equivalent including team operational.
  • Experience in delivering project outcomes within budget and time constraints
  • Experience of developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating project action plans.
  • Experience of providing supervision and coaching support on matters unfamiliar / uncomfortable with
  • Experience of managing performance appropriately and successfully (project or team)

Desirable criteria

  • Experience of developing alliances and partnerships within and across organisations

Skills

Essential criteria

  • Excellent negotiation, influencing and problem solving skills and able to deal effectively with those resistant to change
  • Able to build excellent working relationships and rapport with a variety of stakeholders
  • Able to actively listen and empathise. and build rapport with wide variety of people and at different levels within an organisation.
  • Able to influence, motivate and engage individuals, teams, partners, key stakeholders.
  • Able to analyse, interpret and summarise complex information / data and explain in understandable. language to a variety of audiences
  • Able to produce reports.
  • Able to manage and prioritise. personal workload using own initiative
  • Effective organisation and time management skills

Applicant requirements
