We're excited to introduce a brand-new opportunity to work with our Chief Lending Officer (CLO) and our Lending Leadership team as a Business Manager!

This is a brilliant new role which will support our CLO and Lending Leadership team to deliver against plan and will help our leaders shape the success of our vision - you will support our mission by co-ordinating and empowering our the Leadership team, project teams and colleagues through strong organisation, planning and driving clear accountability.
You will foster strong relationships acting as a credible and influential voice with leaders at all levels. We're looking for someone highly organised and commercial with excellent relationship skills to champion and embed best practice ways of working and people engagement against our priorities.
Here's a taste of what you will be doing as a Business Manager at The Nottingham: -
- You will work closely with our Lending team to develop a deep understanding of our Lending objectives and key projects keeping our CLO updated on progress and risks.
- Connect with different departments and teams ensuring alignment with the wider business, making sure key projects and goals are communicated and are moving forward as planned.
- Support in preparing regular updates and presentations / papers across the organisation including Executive Committee and Board updates.
- Co-ordinate departmental MI and reporting including commentary, insights and packs required for committees / meetings.
- Contribute to decision-making by providing insights to senior leaders that support our overall goals and vision.
- Coordinate the department's actions from committees or compliance activities.
- Always be on the lookout for ways we can do things better-whether it's streamlining processes, improving workflows, or finding new ways to collaborate more efficiently. You will play a pivotal role in driving a culture of continuous improvement by seeking insight, driving your own personal development and spotting opportunities for us to do things differently!
About you: -
- Highly organised and structured to support the delivery of key actions and goals.
- Commercial with natural curiosity to develop a deep understanding of the business and lending priorities.
- Exceptional relationship skills at all levels to co-ordinate, advise and influence senior leaders.
- Technical analytical skills are not required but you will have the ability to draw insights from data and co-ordinate MI and reporting.
- Proven, transferable experience / skills to set you up for success against the key role responsibilities.
