Business Manager - Global Banking

Your role
Are you able to provide comprehensive business management support to the Global Group Heads of various investment banking industry groups? Can you work with stakeholders across a variety of tasks including: creating strategic analysis and reporting to facilitate business progression, drafting presentation materials that provide updates on the business performance, tracking the group's revenue performance and pipeline, and serving as a key point of contact for front office and support functions? Can you work closely with group heads to help drive the communication of the business strategy, performance and priorities?
We are looking for someone like you who can:
• Support Global Banking's industry coverage and advisory Global Group Heads
• Drive the strategic agenda and deliverables for Group Heads and Global Banking senior management
• Prepare business reviews, weekly P&L and wallet reporting, sector analysis, executive client reviews, materials for offsites/all-hands, and team meeting agendas
• Analyze industry stats and data for industry trends, competitive analytics, and areas of opportunity
• Oversee data integrity (client priorities, Dealogic data, etc) for the group in the centralized client relationship manager
• Identify areas of focus relative to our competition and overall market opportunities
• Coordinate and driving all financial management including: annual budgets, quarterly/monthly forecasts, revenue reconciliation, pipeline oversight and projections
• Assist with ongoing client management and onboarding including: account planning and account coverage reviews
• Help manage the people agenda including: headcount planning, intensity and productivity reporting, group meetings and communications
• Help conceive and execute group conferences / client marketing events
• Build effective relationships and work closely with global colleagues (e.g. Chief of Staff, COO, Finance, Risk and Controls, Compliance, etc).
• Drive best practices and helping ensure adherence to firm policies
• Project representation/ownership of broader business deliverables
Your team
The EMEA Global Banking CoS team is a strategic business aligned team, designed to drive top-priority business objectives and high performance. The team is based in London. In this role, you will work in close partnership with Global Banking leadership and play an important role in many facets of the broader business which may include developing, implementing, and overseeing short-term goals, while evaluating and adapting our long-term growth trajectory. You will gain exposure across our industry coverage & advisory groups, ensuring excellence and consistency in execution through reporting and delivery of organizational goals.
Your expertise
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
• Experience in Investment Banking, Business Management, or CFO/COO teams preferred
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with dashboards and Dealogic a plus
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality presentations and reporting
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Self-starter with sound judgment, integrity, and a proactive mindset
• Comfortable making independent decisions and improving existing processes
