Job Description

Job Purpose

Support the Financial Services (FS) Leadership team to drive colleague engagement, enable business growth and optimise client service. Working closely with the Chief Investment Management Director (CIMD) and Chief Financial Planning Director (CFPD), drive the FS business plan in partnership with key stakeholders across the business. Oversee the FS business objectives from development to successful execution under the guidance of the FS Leadership team (CIMD, CFPD & RMPs) with a view to optimising current and future process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the FS Leadership team in delivery of its objectives
  • Work across the business to prioritise and aid in the delivery of FS objectives
  • Be the liaison across the FS Leadership team, overseeing daily operations, problem solving and escalating key decisions and issues as required
  • Engage on operational issues, understanding what is impacting the Front Office (FO) ensuring upward management where required
  • Engage with stakeholders and teams across the business ensuring any business initiatives impacting FO are managed in line with the FS objectives
  • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure effective and high-quality delivery of change initiatives and projects, assessing impact on the FO and ensuring expectations are managed where appropriate
  • Prepare material and fully appraise the Leadership team ahead of meetings
  • Represent the FS Leadership team in meetings, being their voice where appropriate
  • Work with the Internal Communication team to ensure the FS agenda and voice is clearly represented
  • Drive, mobilise and manage the FS roadmap with the FS leadership team to support executing with excellence.
  • Facilitate decision making with the FS Leadership team, challenging initiatives to ensure appropriate delivery in FS
  • Co-ordinate and drive the effective delivery of meetings (including the Managing Partner (MP) and Regional Managing Partner (RMP) sessions), in partnership with the Executive PA team

Qualifications

Key Skills and Experience

  • Experience of Financial Services environments is desirable
  • Experience in project management covering multiple projects
  • Experience of working with Senior Stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to influence others
  • Effective decision maker with an ability to handle challenges and conflicting priorities comfortably
  • Good working knowledge of procedures and systems
  • Excellent negotiating and influencing skills with both external and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to research, investigate and provide conclusions for both familiar and unfamiliar topics, providing advice and guidance to others and acting as an internal consultant, researcher and adviser as required to meet the business needs and objectives of the team
  • Inspiring and motivating with experience of coaching and mentoring
