Therapeutic Service, Children's Services
As part of our transformation in Children's Services, we have developed an operational support model which provides a seamless and efficient administration to the Social Care Heads of Service, and to all operational Team Managers and their teams. The operational support ensures compliance and completion of day-to-day tasks to meet key performance indicators and quality standards.
As a Business Manager, you will plan, manage and deliver support to meet priorities and deliver outcomes for the portfolio of services within the Therapeutic Service, which includes some project work. You will co-ordinate a range of business activities such as establishment monitoring, finance, supervision, recruitment, data gathering and project work.
The operational support function is integral to the success of our service and therefore you are a vital member of the service management team.
You will identify succession planning, ensure staff are offered appropriate training and development opportunities and work with other Business Managers to develop areas of responsibilities. Fully integrating yourself in the team, you'll be the go-to person within the Therapeutic Service to ensure an efficient and effective administrative support service is delivered.
With experience of supervising a small team and supporting a diverse or countywide service your organisational skills will be second to none. You'll have experience of mentoring and coaching staff, managing finances, developing and monitoring administrative systems and supporting business functions.
If you are looking for the opportunity to be central to the smooth running of operational support for the Therapeutic Service, we would love you to apply.
Please ensure when submitting your covering letter, you evidence fully how you meet the essential and desirable criteria of the role. We recommend reading the full Job Description and Person Specification to help you demonstrate you meet the criteria.
